T2W10: Soldering The Clock Kit Continued

We are approaching the end of the term and I hope we can focus on getting the clock kits done - if we run out of time I will try to find some other time (like morning recess or lunch) we can finish them.

Here are step-by-step instructions for soldering the clock kit. I'll go over these in class but they are here for reference.

Assembling The Clock Kit

Quick soldering info for through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs):

1. Bend the component leads 90 degrees and the width of the holes on the circuit board.

2. Put the component through the holes and spread the leads on the back so it stays in.

3. Flip the board over and solder the leads on the pads

4. Clip off the leads close to the circuit board
